Our Guide to Self Care: Relaxing Bath

Taking a relaxing, soothing bath can be a great way to unwind after a long and stressful day. Adding candles can enhance the ambiance and make the experience even more enjoyable. Here are some tips to help create a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing, self-care evening bath.

First, choose a calming scent for your candles to help you relax. We recommend the Water Flow Candle (smells like a bath of rose petals) or the Spa Session Candle (eucalyptus benefits, heck yes!). Place the candles around the tub, making sure they are in a safe, fire resistance, and stable position.

Next, dim the lights and turn on some soft music to create a peaceful and calming environment. You can also add some bath salts or essential oils to the water to enhance your relaxation.

Take your time in the bath, allowing yourself to fully unwind and let go of any stress or tension. You can also practice some deep breathing exercises or meditation to help calm your mind.

You can also read your favorite book or watch your favorite shows on your tablet or phone.

A nice glass of wine (if you’re over the age of 21) or your favorite mocktail can be the cherry on top of your self-care bath experience. If you’re looking for something warmer, maybe a cup of hot tea with honey!

After your bath, take some time to pamper yourself with a moisturizing lotion or body oil. Wrap yourself in a soft, fluffy towel and continue to relax for a few minutes. Did you know there are even towel warmers?!

Breathe in, breathe out. A relaxing, self-care evening bath can be the perfect way to unwind and de-stress after a long day. Adding candles can enhance the ambiance and create a soothing environment to help you fully unwind and rejuvenate with the power of scent. Remember to take your time and enjoy the experience!
